The Milky Way and The Big Sheep are both on your doorstep and have excellent all-weather activities for families. After a day s hectic sightseeing return to the farm where you can relax and let the children play in the enclosed sun trap garden while adults can relax in the garden enjoy a drink or even a good book whilst cooking alfresco on the BBQ all the while planning your next day s adventure. Leisure facilities: relax in the hot tub on the patio of the enclosed garden. The narrow, steeply cobbled main street of Clovelly, which runs down the hill to the harbour at its foot, lends this north Devon village a unique and distinctive character. Steeped in history and full of interesting shops this coastal village is a 'must see' for any visitor to this part of the county.
Clovelly is unusual in being privately owned, by the same family since 1738, who maintain a policy of keeping the village traffic-free and in the style of the mid 19th century. This is reflected in the buildings and architecture and the quiet, non-commercialised, appearance of this jewel in North Devon's crown.
